Welcome to Hotel Meer Residency – A Journey Rooted in Hospitality
When Chiranjeev Singh, lovingly known as Johnny, was born, doctors had already given up hope. Struggling to breathe due to a severe case of pneumonia, they believed he wouldn’t survive. But destiny had other plans. From his very first breath, Johnny fought to live – and that same determination shaped every step of his journey.
Born into a large joint family of nearly 30 people, Johnny grew up amidst love but without money. With limited resources and no financial cushion, he learned the value of hard work early on. As a teenager, he began giving tuition classes to support himself and later worked as a Sahara agent, earning every rupee with sincerity and grit then he started a STD Booth and then started a taxi buisness.
His first real venture was a small automobile spare parts shop named Maruti Care, located right across from where Hotel Meer Residency stands today. The shop still operates – a reminder of where it all began.
But Johnny’s dreams were always bigger. He envisioned a place that could welcome people with comfort, dignity, and warmth – something he himself missed during his early days. With barely any support, facing numerous financial hurdles, court cases, and personal threats, he began building what would become Hotel Meer Residency.
The hotel started modestly with just 7 rooms. In those early days, Johnny did everything himself – from cleaning to attending guests, from maintenance to managing accounts. Every wall of the hotel carries his sweat and silent struggle.
Today, Hotel Meer Residency has grown into a proud symbol of perseverance:
- 25 well-appointed rooms
- 3 modern banquet halls
- 1 beautiful in-house restaurant
Fully automated operations and expanding footprints in both hospitality , real estate and automobile car parts
Despite all odds, Johnny never gave up. His mission now is to make luxury hospitality accessible to everyone, believing that comfort and dignity should not be a privilege, but a right.
His story is a reminder that no storm is stronger than a determined heart.
